All NDIS funded nursing services must be related to your disability and assist you to improve your long-term wellbeing. They are usually delivered over a short period of time and stop once your capacity to manage your own care has been built or your short-term medical needs have ended.
Nursing care may also be provided to participants who have complex individual support needs that are best met by someone who has medical training and experience.
Our nurses work closely with support workers, GPs, specialists, social services, hospitals and other healthcare staff to provide a service tailored to meet your needs.
You can receive assistance with these activities if you have funding in your NDIS plan under ‘Improved Daily Living’.
At SA Disability Care, we aim to support individuals by ensuring we have the services that help to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence. Our experienced staff and support workers are adaptable and approachable so that participants feel comfortable to voice their needs and preferences for service delivery.
